A fish-out-of-water story with a twang and a splash, this comedy follows Dixie, a small-town Southern belle with big dreams of country music stardom, who finds herself hilariously out of her element when she inherits a run-down swamp bar in the Florida panhandle. Directed by Amanda Richards, who also stars as the determined and scrappy Dixie, the film dives into the chaos of a young woman trying to turn a ramshackle watering hole into a legitimate honky-tonk. With the help of a motley crew of eccentric locals, including a gruff but lovable bartender played by John Bruner and a quirky waitress portrayed by Brandie Sylfae, Dixie must navigate alligator-infested waters, rival bar owners, and her own stubborn pride. As she clashes with her new surroundings and a charming but slippery musician, played by Tyler Gorham Shilstone, Dixie learns that the biggest country can be found in the heart of the wet, wild, and wonderfully weird community she never knew she needed.
