In the surreal and darkly comedic short film "Something, Something, Seventh Street," director Lex Burger crafts a disorienting night in the life of a single city block. The story follows a handful of restless souls whose paths collide on Seventh Street after midnight, each grappling with their own peculiar sense of emptiness. Kelsey Collins stars as a jaded convenience store clerk who finds her monotonous shift disrupted by a series of increasingly bizarre customers. Among them is a mysterious drifter played by Christopher Inman, who seems to be searching for something he cannot name, and a frantic, paranoid man portrayed by Mohammad Dagman who believes the street itself is alive. Alexa Smith rounds out the ensemble as a lost young woman wandering the sidewalk, drawn into the escalating chaos. As the night deepens, the thin veil between reality and delusion begins to fray, forcing each character to confront the strange, underlying pulse of their environment. Blending deadpan humor with a creeping sense of dread, this tight 13-minute thriller keeps viewers guessing about what lurks just beyond the neon glow.
