In the heart of the American South, two brothers find their bond tested by tragedy and their futures hanging in the balance in the inspiring sports drama "Run the Race". Following the loss of their mother and abandonment by their father, high school football star Zach, played by Tanner Stine, and his younger, academically gifted brother Dave, portrayed by Evan Hofer, have only each other to rely on. Zach pins all his hopes on a college football scholarship to secure their way out of town, but a devastating injury shatters that dream, forcing the brothers to confront a painful past and a suddenly uncertain future. As Zach's bitterness threatens to consume him, Dave finds an unexpected chance at his own redemption through the school's track team, coached by a man with his own regrets, played by Mykelti Williamson. With powerful supporting performances from Frances Fisher, Kristoffer Polaha, and Tim Tebow, this film from director Chris Dowling is a poignant story of faith, forgiveness, and the unbreakable ties of family, set against the gritty and hopeful backdrop of small-town athletics.
