Secret Window
In the secluded tranquility of his lakeside cabin, acclaimed author Mort Rainey, played by Johnny Depp, is trying to me...
Twenty years after their first disastrous road trip, the world's most lovable idiots are back. Jim Carrey and Jeff Daniels return as Lloyd Christmas and Harry Dunne, whose friendship has endured decades of shared stupidity. When Harry reveals he needs a kidney transplant, the pair embark on a new cross-country misadventure after discovering Harry once fathered a child who was given up for adoption. Believing their only hope is to find this now-grown daughter, they hit the road, tracing a clue that leads them to a brilliant and beautiful scientist, played by Rachel Melvin. Their quest quickly spirals into a chaotic race against time, putting them on a collision course with the girl's mysterious mother, portrayed by Kathleen Turner, and a series of increasingly absurd characters, including a suspicious stepfather played by Rob Riggle. Directed by Bobby Farrelly and Peter Farrelly, this long-awaited sequel delivers the same brand of gleeful, slapstick humor and heartfelt camaraderie that made the original Dumb and Dumber a classic, proving that some friendships only get dumber with age.
