In the first major studio romantic comedy to feature an entirely LGBTQ+ principal cast, Billy Eichner stars as Bobby, a proudly single and perpetually cynical podcast host who has built a career out of dissecting the complexities of gay culture. His carefully curated life of independence is thrown into delightful chaos when he meets Aaron, a charmingly laid-back lawyer played by Luke Macfarlane, who seems to be everything Bobby is not. Directed by Nicholas Stoller and co-written by Eichner, this sharp and heartfelt film follows two men with very different approaches to life and love as they navigate the exhilarating, awkward, and often hilarious minefield of a modern relationship. Surrounded by a vibrant ensemble including Monica Raymund, Jim Rash, and Bowen Yang, Bobby is forced to confront his own fears of vulnerability and commitment. "Bros" delivers big laughs and genuine emotion as it explores whether these two very different people can overcome their own baggage and the pressures of their world to build something real together.
