Synopsis

In the raucous comedy Action Point, Johnny Knoxville stars as the reckless owner of a low-budget, dangerously run amusement park where the only rule is that there are no rules. As a slick corporate competitor threatens to put him out of business, he must pull out all the stops—and survive a series of outrageous, bone-crunching stunts—to save his beloved park and impress his visiting teenage daughter, played by Eleanor Worthington Cox. The film also features Camilla Wolfson, Brigette Lundy-Paine, and Chris Pontius in the chaotic ensemble. Directed by Tim Kirkby and co-written by Johnny Knoxville, this tribute to daredevil idiocy delivers a wild ride of perilous gags and heartfelt, if bruised, family bonding.
