Bridge, until......
Animation

In just six minutes, director [c=Xiaofeng Guo] crafts a poignant and visually stunning animated short that explores the fragile connections between people. The film centers on a solitary bridge, a silent witness to countless encounters and separations. As a young protagonist navigates this liminal space, the narrative unfolds through evocative imagery, capturing moments of hope, longing, and quiet reflection. The animation style blends delicate hand-drawn elements with a muted color palette, creating an atmosphere of gentle melancholy. Without relying on dialogue, the story speaks through the subtle interactions of characters who cross the bridge, each carrying their own unspoken burdens and desires. The central conflict emerges as the protagonist grapples with the ephemeral nature of human bonds, wondering if a single crossing can ever lead to a lasting connection. This lyrical meditation on memory and transition invites viewers to ponder the spaces between hello and goodbye, making every second of its brief runtime count.
