Brianna Brown is an American actress and producer who has built a versatile career across daytime soap operas, primetime dramas, and streaming series. She is best known for her compelling portrayals of complex characters, including the villainous Lisa Niles on the long-running ABC soap opera General Hospital, the ambitious Taylor Stappord on the Lifetime series Devious Maids, and the calculating Claudia Blaisdel on The CW’s reboot of Dynasty.

Born and raised in Minnesota, Brown developed an early passion for performing, which led her to study theater and communications at the University of Minnesota. After graduating, she moved to Los Angeles to pursue acting full-time. Her early career included guest appearances on popular television shows such as CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, NCIS, and The Closer, where she honed her craft and gained valuable experience in the industry. She also appeared in independent films, including The Lost and All In, before landing a recurring role on the soap opera One Life to Live.

Brown’s breakout role came in 2009 when she joined the cast of General Hospital as Lisa Niles, a manipulative nurse who became one of Port Charles’ most memorable antagonists. Her performance earned her critical praise and a dedicated fan following, cementing her status as a talented actress capable of bringing depth to villainous roles. She remained with the show until 2011, with guest appearances in subsequent years. Following her success on daytime television, Brown transitioned to primetime, securing a series regular role on Devious Maids as Taylor Stappord, a wealthy and secretive housewife. The show, created by Marc Cherry, ran for four seasons from 2013 to 2016, and Brown’s portrayal of Taylor showcased her range in a comedic-dramatic ensemble.

In 2017, Brown took on the role of Claudia Blaisdel in The CW’s reboot of Dynasty, a modernized take on the classic 1980s primetime soap. Her character, the vengeful ex-wife of Blake Carrington, was a central figure in the show’s first season, and Brown brought a fierce intensity to the role. She also ventured into producing, serving as an executive producer on the 2019 independent film The Last Full Measure, which starred Sebastian Stan and Christopher Plummer. Beyond her on-screen work, Brown is an advocate for animal rights and environmental causes, often using her platform to support nonprofit organizations. She continues to act and produce, with a focus on character-driven projects that challenge her as a performer.
