Motherland: Fort Salem is an American supernatural drama television series created by Eliot Laurence. The series follows three young women who are witches in training at Fort Salem, a military base dedicated to training young witches to fight terrorism. The series premiered on Freeform on March 18, 2020. On May 11, 2020, Freeform renewed the series for a second season, which premiered on June 22, 2021. The series was renewed for a third season, which is set to premiere in 2023.
On May 11, 2023, Freeform released a promo for the second season of Motherland: Fort Salem. The promo, titled "A New Threat," features footage of the three main characters, Raelle Collar (Taylor Hickson), Abigail Bellweather (Ashley Nicole Williams), and Tally Craven (Jessica Sutton), as they face a new threat to Fort Salem. The promo also features a glimpse of the new character, M (Izabela Vidovic), a young witch who joins the ranks of the Bellweather Unit.
