The CW has released a preview for the second episode of Legacies' third season, titled "Goodbyes Sure Do Suck." The episode will air on January 28, 2021. In the preview, Hope Mikaelson (Danielle Rose Russell) is seen struggling to cope with the loss of her father, Klaus Mikaelson (Joseph Morgan). She is also shown trying to adjust to her new life at the Salvatore School for the Young and Gifted. Meanwhile, Alaric Saltzman (Matt Davis) is seen trying to help Hope through her grief.
