Chicago P.D. is an American police procedural drama television series created by Dick Wolf and Matt Olmstead that airs on NBC. It is the third installment in the Chicago franchise, after Chicago Fire and Chicago Med. The series follows the lives of the uniformed patrol officers and the Intelligence Unit of the Chicago Police Department's 21st District.
In the upcoming episode, titled "43rd and Normal," the Intelligence Unit investigates the murder of a young woman and discovers that she was involved in a human trafficking ring. The team must race against time to find the victim's traffickers before they can harm anyone else. The episode also features the return of fan-favorite character Jay Halstead (Jesse Lee Soffer).
