Hawaii Five-0 is an American police procedural drama television series that premiered on CBS on September 20, 2010. The series is a remake of the original Hawaii Five-O television series that aired from 1968 to 1980. The series stars Alex O'Loughlin, Scott Caan, Daniel Dae Kim, and Grace Park as the members of an elite state police task force. The series is set in Hawaii and follows the team as they investigate major crimes on the islands. The series has been a critical and commercial success, and has been nominated for numerous awards, including the Golden Globe Award for Best Television Series – Drama.
