Briarpatch is an upcoming American crime drama television series based on the Ross Thomas novel of the same name. The series stars Rosario Dawson as Allegra "Ally" Dill, a detective who returns to her hometown to investigate her sister's murder. The series was created by Andy Greenwald and Sam Esmail, and is set to premiere on USA Network on February 6, 2020.
In the promo video for Briarpatch, Ally is seen investigating her sister's murder. She is met with resistance from the local police, but she is determined to find out the truth. The video also shows Ally interacting with some of the other characters in the series, including her estranged father and her sister's husband.
