Venom (2018) is an American superhero film based on the Marvel Comics character of the same name. The film is directed by Ruben Fleischer and stars Tom Hardy, Michelle Williams, Riz Ahmed, Scott Haze, and Reid Scott. The film follows Eddie Brock, a disgraced journalist who becomes the host of an alien symbiote that gives him superpowers.
