Chicago Med is an American medical drama television series that premiered on NBC on November 17, 2015. The series is a spin-off of Chicago Fire and follows the lives of the doctors and nurses of Gaffney Chicago Medical Center. The series stars Nick Gehlfuss, Yaya DaCosta, Torrey DeVitto, Brian Tee, S. Epatha Merkerson and Oliver Platt.
On May 10, 2018, NBC renewed Chicago Med for a fourth season, which premiered on September 26, 2018. The season will consist of 22 episodes.
The first teaser trailer for the fourth season was released on August 22, 2018. The trailer shows the doctors and nurses of Gaffney Chicago Medical Center dealing with a variety of medical emergencies, including a mass shooting, a car accident, and a fire. The trailer also teases the arrival of a new doctor, Dr. Ethan Choi (Brian Tee), who is a former Army medic.
