The second season of NBC's Trial & Error is set to premiere on July 19th, and a new teaser trailer has been released. The trailer gives us a glimpse of what to expect from the new season, which will see Kristin Chenoweth joining the cast as a new prosecutor. In the teaser, Chenoweth's character is seen questioning the flamboyant husband of a murder victim, played by John Lithgow. The trailer also features a cameo appearance by Carol Burnett, who played Lithgow's mother in the first season.
