**Salvation Season 2** is an upcoming American science fiction drama television series set to premiere on CBS in the fall of 2018. The series, which is a sequel to the 2017 film of the same name, follows the aftermath of an asteroid nearly colliding with Earth and the discovery of a message from aliens who claim to be our saviors. The series stars Santiago Cabrera, Jennifer Finnigan, and Charlie Rowe.
