'Insecure' is an American comedy-drama television series created by Issa Rae and Larry Wilmore. The series follows the friends Issa Dee (Issa Rae) and Molly Carter (Yvonne Orji) as they navigate their personal and professional lives in Los Angeles. On August 7, 2017, HBO announced that the series had been renewed for a third season, which is set to premiere on August 12, 2018. A teaser trailer for the third season was released on June 28, 2018. The trailer features Issa and Molly as they navigate the ups and downs of their lives, including Issa's new relationship with Nathan (Kendrick Sampson) and Molly's new job at a law firm.
