Bob's Burgers is an American animated sitcom created by Loren Bouchard for Fox Broadcasting Company. The series centers on the Belcher family—parents Bob and Linda and their children Tina, Gene, and Louise—who run a hamburger restaurant called Bob's Burgers in the fictional town of Seymour's Bay. The show premiered on January 9, 2011, and has aired eight seasons, with a ninth season set to premiere in 2019.
In the eighth episode of the eighth season, titled "The Frond Files," the Belchers find themselves caught up in a mystery when their friend Mr. Frond goes missing. As they investigate, they uncover a series of strange and unusual clues that lead them to believe that Mr. Frond may have been abducted by aliens. The episode is full of the show's signature humor and heart, and it features a guest appearance by Kristen Schaal as the voice of a government agent.
