In Pacific Rim: Uprising, the sequel to the 2013 blockbuster film, humanity faces a new threat from the Kaiju, monstrous creatures from the depths of the Pacific Ocean. In this TV spot, we get a glimpse of a new type of Jaeger, the Chainsaw Jaeger, a massive robot armed with a giant chainsaw. The Chainsaw Jaeger is piloted by Jake Pentecost (John Boyega), the son of Stacker Pentecost (Idris Elba), who led the resistance against the Kaiju in the first film.
