The Brave is an upcoming American action drama television series created by Dean Georgaris. The series is based on the book Fearless by former Delta Force commander Mark Owen. The series premiered on NBC on September 25, 2017. The series follows the lives of a group of elite Special Forces soldiers as they carry out their missions. In the first season, the team is led by Captain Adam Dalton (Mike Vogel), a highly experienced and decorated soldier. The team also includes Master Sergeant Michael Nash (Demetrius Grosse), a former Navy SEAL who is the team's weapons expert; Staff Sergeant Jasmine "Jaz" Khan (Natacha Karam), a skilled sniper; and Sergeant First Class Joseph "McG" McGuire (Noah Mills), a combat medic.
