Insidious: The Last Key is an upcoming American supernatural horror film directed by Adam Robitel and written by Leigh Whannell. The fourth installment in the Insidious series, the film serves as a prequel to the previous three films and follows Elise Rainier (Lin Shaye) as she investigates a haunted house in New Mexico. The film stars Shaye, Angus Sampson, Leigh Whannell, Spencer Locke, Caitlin Gerard, Kirk Acevedo, and Bruce Davison. Insidious: The Last Key is scheduled to be released in the United States on January 5, 2018.
