Ray Donovan is an American television series that premiered on Showtime on June 30, 2013. The series follows Ray Donovan (Liev Schreiber), a professional "fixer" for the powerful in Los Angeles. In the fifth season of the show, Ray is struggling to balance his personal and professional life. He is struggling with the guilt of killing his wife, Abby (Paula Malcomson) and he is also dealing with the return of his estranged father, Mickey (Jon Voight). This season also sees Ray trying to navigate the political landscape of Los Angeles as he investigates the death of a prominent politician.
