In this clip from the eighth episode of the first season of "I'm Dying Up Here," Cassie Feder (Ari Graynor) is in a state of crisis. She has just been fired from her waitressing job and is feeling like her life is falling apart. In a moment of desperation, she goes to the home of her former mentor, Goldie (Melissa Leo), and asks for help. Goldie reluctantly agrees to let Cassie stay with her, but it soon becomes clear that Cassie is not going to be an easy houseguest.
