In this sneak peek of "Modern Family" episode 8.21 (titled Time Out), Phil is given a time-out from technology in order to spend more quality time with his family. Claire takes this as an opportunity to get Phil to help around the house more, but Phil takes his time-out literally and puts himself in the corner. Meanwhile, Gloria and Jay try to teach Joe about the importance of sharing, but Joe has his own unique way of doing things. And Mitchell and Cameron try to teach Lily about the importance of being honest, but Lily is more interested in playing with her toys.
