"The Fate of the Furious" is an upcoming American action film directed by F. Gary Gray and written by Chris Morgan. It is the eighth installment in the Fast & Furious franchise and the second film in the series to be directed by Gray. The film stars Vin Diesel, Dwayne Johnson, Jason Statham, Michelle Rodriguez, Tyrese Gibson, Chris "Ludacris" Bridges, Scott Eastwood, Nathalie Emmanuel, and Charlize Theron. The film follows Dominic Toretto (Diesel) and his crew as they are recruited by a government agent (Eastwood) to help stop a terrorist threat.
