Journey to the West 2 (Chinese: 西遊記之孫悟空三打白骨精; literally: "Journey to the West: Sun Wukong's Three Battles with the White Bone Spirit") is a 2016 Chinese action-adventure comedy film directed by Tsui Hark and starring Kris Wu, Lin Gengxin, and Yao Chen. It is based on the 16th-century novel Journey to the West by Wu Cheng'en and serves as a sequel to the 2014 film Monkey King. The film was released in China on January 28, 2016.
