Sun Records is a new eight-part television drama that tells the story of the iconic Sun Record Label, which was founded by Sam Phillips in Memphis, Tennessee in 1952. The show features an all-star cast, including Kevin Bacon as Phillips, and chronicles the label's rise to fame, as well as the personal and professional lives of the artists who recorded for it.
