The Affair is an American drama television series that premiered on Showtime on October 12, 2014. The series follows the lives of Noah Solloway, a married man who has an affair with a younger woman named Alison Lockhart, and the aftermath of their affair. In the third season of the series, Noah and Alison are trying to move on with their lives, but they are still haunted by their past. In the fourth episode of the season, Noah and Alison attend a couples therapy session, where they are forced to confront their feelings for each other.
