NBC's live televised musical, Hairspray Live!, is set to air on December 7, 2016. The musical follows the story of Tracy Turnblad, a high school student in 1962 Baltimore who dreams of dancing on The Corny Collins Show. When Tracy wins a spot on the show, she becomes an overnight sensation and uses her newfound fame to fight for integration in her segregated city. The musical features a star-studded cast including Maddie Baillio, Harvey Fierstein, and Jennifer Hudson.
