The History of Love is an upcoming drama film directed by Lone Scherfig and starring Liam Neeson, Gemma Arterton, and Elliott Gould. The film is based on the novel of the same name by Nicole Krauss. The film tells the story of Leo Gursky, a Holocaust survivor who discovers a manuscript written by his late wife. The manuscript tells the story of Alma, a young Jewish woman who falls in love with a Catholic man during World War II. The film follows the two stories as they intersect and intertwine.
