The Great Indoors is an American sitcom television series that aired on CBS for one season from October 29, 2016, to April 19, 2017. The series was created by Mike Schur and stars Joel McHale, Stephen Fry, Susannah Flood, Chris Williams, Shaun Brown, and Christine Ko. The show follows Jack Gordon (McHale), an adventurous outdoor magazine writer who is forced to move to Chicago to become the editor of an online outdoor magazine. The show received generally positive reviews from critics, but low ratings led to its cancellation after one season.
