Conviction is an American legal drama television series that premiered on ABC on October 3, 2016. The series follows the story of Hayes Morrison, a brilliant but flawed former First Daughter who is sentenced to prison for a crime she did not commit. After serving her sentence, Hayes becomes a lawyer and works to prove her innocence while also fighting for justice for other wrongfully convicted people. In this promo video for the first season, Hayes is released from prison and given a second chance to prove her innocence. She vows to use her legal skills to help others who have been wrongly convicted and to find the truth about her own case.
