**The Huntsman: Winter's War** is an upcoming American action-fantasy film directed by Cedric Nicolas-Troyan and written by Craig Mazin and Evan Spiliotopoulos. A prequel and sequel to 2012's Snow White and the Huntsman, the film stars Chris Hemsworth reprising his role as the titular huntsman, and also features Charlize Theron, Emily Blunt, and Jessica Chastain. The film follows the Huntsman as he teams up with Ravenna's younger sister, Freya, to defeat Ravenna and her army.
