The television show Castle follows the lives of mystery writer Richard Castle and NYPD Detective Kate Beckett as they investigate crimes in New York City. In the clip from episode 8.09, titled "Tone Death," Castle and Beckett are investigating the murder of a music producer. The clip begins with Castle and Beckett arriving at the crime scene, where they find the victim's body in a recording studio. The producer has been stabbed to death, and Castle and Beckett quickly begin to investigate. They interview the victim's employees and family members, and they soon learn that the producer was involved in a number of financial disputes. Castle and Beckett also learn that the producer was having an affair with one of his employees, and they begin to suspect that the employee may be responsible for the murder.
