**The Detour** is an upcoming American comedy television series that parodies sitcoms from the 1980s and 1990s. The series, which was created by Samantha Bee, Jason Jones, and James Serafinowicz, is set to premiere on TBS in early 2016. The show follows the Parkers, a family who take a cross-country road trip in order to get to their new home in Florida. However, the trip quickly turns into a disaster as the Parkers are faced with various mishaps and obstacles. The series stars Jason Jones as Nate Parker, Natalie Zea as Robin Parker, Ashley Gerasimovich as Delilah Parker, and Liam Carroll as Jared Parker.
