Ride Along 2 is the sequel to the 2014 film Ride Along. The film was directed by Tim Story and stars Kevin Hart and Ice Cube. The film follows police officer Ben Barber (Hart) and his brother-in-law James Payton (Cube) as they go on a road trip to Miami to find a fugitive. Along the way, they encounter a number of challenges, including a car chase, a shootout, and a hostage situation. The film was released in the United States on January 15, 2016.
