Fargo Season 3 is an upcoming American black comedy crime drama television series created by Noah Hawley for FX. The series is based on the 1996 film of the same name by the Coen brothers and is set in the same fictional universe as the 2006 film Fargo: A Serious Man. The series stars Ewan McGregor as Emmit and Ray Stussy, Carrie Coon as Gloria Burgle, Mary Elizabeth Winstead as Nikki Swango, Russell Harvard as Dodd Gerhardt, and Michael Stuhlbarg as Sy Feltz. The season follows Emmit, a parking lot magnate who is kidnapped by his younger brother Ray, a parole officer. The series premiered on April 19, 2017.
