American Horror Story is back for its fifth season with a new setting, a new cast of characters, and a new set of horrors. In the third episode, "Mommy," we met the Countess, a vampire who runs the hotel and preys on its guests.
In the fourth episode, "Devil's Night," we saw the Countess's powers in full force as she turned one of the hotel's guests into a vampire. We also learned more about the Hotel Cortez's connection to the supernatural world. In the fifth episode, "Room Service," we saw the Countess's plan to turn the hotel into a sanctuary for vampires come to fruition.
