In the opening scene of Finding Carter 2.13, Carter (Anna Jacoby-Heron) is shown waking up in a hospital bed. She is groggy and confused, and she doesn't remember what happened to her. As she tries to piece together the events of the previous night, she realizes that she was taken captive by a man named Gary (Alex Saxon). Carter is terrified, but she also feels a strange connection to Gary. She can't help but wonder why he kidnapped her, and what he wants from her.
