**Suits** is an American legal drama television series created by Aaron Korsh. The series premiered on USA Network on June 23, 2011. The series follows Mike Ross (Patrick J. Adams), a brilliant college dropout who pretends to be a Harvard Law School graduate to secure a job as an associate at the fictional Pearson Specter Litt & Associates law firm in New York City. The firm's senior partner, Harvey Specter (Gabriel Macht), discovers Mike's secret and chooses to keep it concealed, recognizing Mike's potential as a lawyer.
The fifth season of Suits premiered on June 28, 2016. The seventh episode of the season, titled "Hitting Home," aired on August 2, 2016. The episode was directed by Anton Cropper and written by Aaron Korsh and Daniel Arkin.
In the episode, Mike and Harvey must defend a pharmaceutical company that is being sued by a woman who claims that their drug caused her daughter's death. The case becomes more complicated when it is revealed that the woman's daughter was actually killed by a hit-and-run driver.
