American Ultra is an upcoming action comedy film starring Jesse Eisenberg and Kristen Stewart. The film follows Mike Howell (Eisenberg), a seemingly ordinary convenience store clerk who is actually a highly trained CIA sleeper agent. When his handlers activate him, Mike must confront his past and fight for his life. The film is directed by Nima Nourizadeh and is set to be released on August 21, 2015.
A new TV spot for the film has been released, which gives us a glimpse of Mike's transformation from mild-mannered clerk to lethal assassin. The spot also features some of the film's supporting cast, including Topher Grace, Connie Britton, and Bill Pullman.
