Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. is an American television series created by Joss Whedon, Jed Whedon, and Maurissa Tancharoen, based on the Marvel Comics organization of the same name. The series, set in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), follows the adventures of the Strategic Homeland Intervention, Enforcement, and Logistics Division, a peacekeeping and espionage organization dedicated to protecting the world from supernatural threats.
