In the eighth episode of iZombie titled "Dead Air," Blaine has carved a body and David Filmore is preparing to host a radio show about zombies. Liv eats Blaine's brain and develops his abilities and is able to walk by day, although she develops a taste for human flesh. As Liv continues to absorb Blaine's persona, she begins to pose a risk to those around her.
