Modern Family is an American television series created by Christopher Lloyd and Steven Levitan that premiered on ABC on September 23, 2009. The show follows the lives of three families connected by Jay Pritchett. Jay is a wealthy businessman who is married to Gloria, a much younger Colombian woman. They have a son named Manny together. Jay's daughter, Claire, is married to Phil Dunphy, a real estate agent. They have three children together: Haley, Alex, and Luke. Jay's other daughter, Mitchell, is married to Cameron Tucker, a stay-at-home dad. They have a daughter named Lily.
