In the preview for episode 17 of season 6 of the television show "The Middle", the Hecks prepare for a camping trip with their neighbors, the Donahues. Frankie is excited to spend some quality time with her family and get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. However, things don't go quite as planned when the two families start to clash over their different camping styles. The Hecks are more laid-back and prefer to rough it, while the Donahues are more Type-A and prefer to have all the amenities of home. As the two families try to find a way to compromise, they learn a little bit about themselves and each other in the process.
