He had just as much right to the company as any of Eric's other children. Connor had drawn up the papers of stock transfer as Brooke had requested. However, Connor warns Brooke to reconsider the transaction because once she had given Ridge the stock, the action could not be reversed. Brooke said she was sure this was what she wanted to do. Connor noticed that Brooke's behavior was strange, asks if she was ill. Rick announces that he had changed his mind, didn't want to give any stock away. Brooke understood Rick's change of heart, suggest that everyone leave before Ridge arrives. Connor didn't think it was a good idea because Ridge was likely to be angry. Ridge brought champagne, suggested they toast the company. Rick then interrupted, says there would not be any stock transfer.
