Homer neglects Grampa by not joining him in a three-legged race. At the urging of Marge, Homer decides to make up for it. Grampa reminisces about a pub in Dunkilderry, Ireland called O'Flanagan's. He had he visited the pub many years ago and had the best night of his life. Homer decides to take Grampa there, but things are different. After a night of drinking, they end up buying the pub from owner Tom O'Flanagan. However, they discover that pubs are no longer popular there and their business tharts to fail. They also visit Irish landmarks including Giant's Causeway, the Blarney Castle and the Guinness Brewery
