As Hank waits for his missing brother to turn up, Evan comes face-to-face with the kidnappers who snatched him off the streets of Cuba. As it turns out, they grabbed the wrong Lawson brother. A believed-to-be-dead Cuban dissident named Marcos has had an accident and is in need of a doctor - preferably one who can keep his mouth shut. Hank arrives and manages to save the day, but while treating his patient he makes an unsettling medical discovery…one that could potentially put everyone involved in harm's way.
While Hank struggles to treat both Marcos and Boris, who is in the midst of undergoing a dangerous experimental treatment, Divya is once again forced to work with Dr. Peck. It doesn't go any more smoothly the second time around, but does inspire Divya to develop her burgeoning friendship with Jill.
Relationships are less cozy in Cuba, where Dr. Casseras and Hank continue to clash. But with the lives of both Boris and Marcos hanging in the balance, the two doctors will have to learn to work together, and they'll have to do it rapidamente.
