Several years after we last saw the retail buccaneer, Harry, his staff, and his family are reunited for both a wedding and a funeral. At the store, morale is shaky as everyone adjusts to post-war life. A revered French designer's debut arrives with much ado and flaming tempers.

The Selfridges and their new in-laws get to know one another, but difficulties arise when business gets in the way. Harry champions a noble, new cause with the help of an assertive visitor, but an old rival is one step behind.

Kitty and George are happily married, though Kitty's smart-mouthed sister Connie is quickly disturbing the peace. Agnes and Henri join forces. Victor is the life of the London party. George takes control of his career, while Mr. Crabb takes a stand.
